Main St.  &nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/>\nCharlottesville, VA 22903 &#038;nbsp United States<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommended Providers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Patient Notes: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Transgender Health Clinic offers a safe and supportive multidisciplinary clinic for youth ages 11 to 26.<\/p>\n<p>Comprehensive services include:<\/p>\n<p>-Referrals for evaluations for a diagnosis of gender dysphoria, which is the criteria for hormones or surgery<br \/>\n-Puberty blockers, to delay the onset of puberty<br \/>\n-Surgery referrals (for gender reassignment)<br \/>\n-Sex and contraceptive education<br \/>\n-A community health educator who works with transgender patients to put resources together, such as how to change your name or get voice therapy<br \/>\n-Help finding resources for information and support<\/p>\n<p>The clinic meets every three months in the Teen and Young Adult Health Clinic.
